Delicious dinner and respectful welcome on a recent solo visit. I felt that the cuisine was authentic and what you'd be eating if you went to see your Italian nonna. Surprisingly modest prices, given the quality and quantity of the dishes. Hoping to return and share the delightful experience with my spouse.

This was the second time in 4 years that we visited Osteria Nonna Nina. Again, this has been a fantastic experience. The staff is wonderful, the dishes down to earth and unpretentious. The ingredients are of high quality. If you have the chance, go for the Norcia pasta dish. This literally has been one of the best things I've had in many years of visits to Italy.
Ate like a king for 20€ ! Everything was superb, the host was very welcoming and they even let me try some classic Ascoli drink at the end of the meal, which was much appreciated. Highly recommended if you are anywhere in Ascoli!

Highly recommended! Amazingly prepared local food. Courses introduction with some riveting storytelling provided by Roberto. Small place but we were given the private room which can comfortably accommodate 10 people, so fantastic from that point of view too.

Simply marvellous. Just became my favourite restaurant in Ascoli, and I’m from around here. The owner (and often head waiter) is a simply wonderful person, incredibly knowledgeable, especially regarding dietary requirements. The cured meats are stellar, and all local and without any kind of additives, preservatives, etc.: extremely difficult to find in Italy nowadays with strict EU regs. Highly, highly recommended.

Easy review: this restaurant is simply the top. Fried foods are special. I appreciated the “strozzapreti alla norcina” but also other pasta are great. Meat is also good but don’t forget to save room for desserts. For the wine I suggest “Rosso Piceno” (but it depends on your meal). Staff is so kind. Really a lovely restaurant, if you visit Ascoli plan a dinner (or lunch) here.

Lovely, friendly service. Excellent menu and very reasonably priced. Finished off with a complimentary limoncello to remind us of what real Italian hospitality is like.

A fantastic restaurant with incredible service. Great local dishes and fabulous knowledge of local food and wine. A must in Ascoli. We’ll be back!
Wonderful food. Try the house wine, one of the best wines in Italy. Ask for the limoncello at the end, you'll be surprised.
Roberto and his wife run an amazing restaurant. The real Italian experience, the service was beyond spectacular. The antipasti a MUST!
